Overnight Oats with Chia

No time in the morning? Overnight oats has you covered! You can make a batch of these in advance and they'll be waiting for you when you're ready. Store it in small mason jars for a delicious on the go breakfast! Steel cut oats have positive effects on blood sugar, lower cholesterol & regulate weight. Chia seeds are full of fiber and protein.

And, Coconut is is full of healthy fat. This healthy combination of the three will keep you full longer!


Ingredients


  • 2/3 cup non-dairy milk

  • 1/4 cup gluten free, steel cut oats

  • 2 tablespoons chia

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • fresh fruit as topping (i.e., raspberries, blueberries)

Directions

  1. In a bowl mix together all ingredients, except the fresh fruit.

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. Let sit in fridge overnight.

  4. In the morning, stir contents. Add some honey, if you require sweetener.

  5. Add fruit on top.

  6. Enjoy!
